What Storage Takes Care Of The Files On Social Media Platforms? by Umarzy(m): 6:21pm On Jun 04, 2019 |
Hello, Fellow Nairalanders. I have observed that when people posts on social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and the likes, No Matter the size of the videos , photos and even coupled with the fact that these platforms are being visited regularly by Millions of users globally, these platforms doesn't get slowed down. For the fact that people do upload status, send pictures, heavy videos, live videos and the likes, they don't affect the platforms. If we observe in our gadgets such as Phones and Laptops, by the time you have used about half or two-third of your in-built/dedicated spaces, you start to notice that your phone or system hangs/slows down somehow. My Question is for the fact that Facebook, twitter and instagram is flooded with pictures , videos and these files are still there somehow permanently .How is it still possible that these sites/apps doesn't hang or slow when being visited and used daily by cyberspace enthusiast which even aggregated to at least a billion users daily? What storage is taking care of those enormous files? |
