Imagine Zhao, a senior member of their chamber of commerce, executed for raping minors!! We can start with our universities and weed out the bad eggs then graduate into the Senate.

A successful businessman in China has been executed after being found guilty of raping 25 underage female students, according to a court.


Zhao Zhiyong had sexually assaulted the young victims on 32 occasions in the space of one and a half years. He was sentenced to death for raping last October before being executed yesterday June 4th, according to the Kaifeng Intermediate People's Court in central China's Henan Province.


In an online statement, the court said Zhao had colluded with an accomplice, named Li Na, who was responsible for scouting for victims. Between May 2015 and January 2017, Li brought underage girls to hotels or Zhao's home for him to have sexual intercourse with by force.


The court said it carried out the execution after receiving an order from the Supreme Court. Zhao was said to be an influential businessman in Kaifeng. He owned a large flour factory and was the deputy head of the Kaifeng Chamber of Commerce, according to Chinese news outlet The Paper.


Zhao, 49, had sent Li to look for 'young female pupils' from middle schools in the county of Weishi so that he could have sex with them. Li, together with eight accomplices, forced the victims to sleep with Zhao by beating them, intimidating them and taking pictures of their privates as threats.


The notice added that Zhao had raped 25 middle school students on 32 occasions, including 14 girls who were not yet 14 years old. Zhao's accomplice Li was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve.

don't get it twisted. In Nigeria he doesn't have to be a member of the ruling party for him to go scut free. The fact that he's a millionaire is reason enough as he can always bribe the judge or look for a frivolous excuse not to go to prison.

Rev. King and Ibinabo Faberisima comes to mind. They ain't politicians or members of any political party yet their cases are still pending.

This is just what I meant by appropriate deterrent. His status didn't buy him reprieve, his money didn't count. Messing around with the future of underage girls is as serious as treason and should attract capital punishment. I do not think that with this kind of deterrent any idiot will attempt to commit rape and blame the devil. Nigeria suppose to get as serious as this. China even punishes with beheading for corruption! Capital punishment is not proper. But a crisis situation requires serious measures.

Law and order (criminal justice system) in Nigerian has not attained even that low level of sophistication within which such prejudices are a fault. Both poor and rich get away with blue murder in the realm; see kidnapping for reference. Convict and execute kidnapers and those murdering bandits determinedly and persistently for several years and watch that particular deviance vanish from the culture.

In Nigeria, the man would have hired Agbakoba and Ozhekome together. The court would have adjourned the case for 6 years and on the 6th years court will strike out the case for lack of substantial evidence.

Nigerian Judiciary is in the pocket of big men.
