The president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Ahmad Ahmad, has been arrested in Paris hotel by French police.



His arrest is yet to be confirmed by CAF but it may be connected to alleged corruption in Technical steel contract.

Following Ahmad's arrest, the first Vice-President, Nigeria's Amaju Pinnick, will assume his duties for a transitional period of four months before convening an elective special Assembly.
