Under ten years??!!!! Why not brand new Why do our leaders like wallowing in mediocrity? Who force una enter airline business?
If a state like Akwaibom enters into airline business, they should be ready to go all in with the necessary financial sacrifice to ensure it's top standard operation.

If they buy brand new planes an average traveller in Nigeria will not be able to afford travelling with it when they finish costing the overheads undecided

If he can do this three things which he Is doing 2 already ,akwaibom will be more developed than lagos before a period of 5yrs. You can book mark this .
Akwa Ibom will be more developed and you hold it there. There is no need for unnecessary comparison

I wish them the best of luck. It's easier to start and Airline than it is to make it profitable and sustainable. Unless it is just a Santa Claus sort of program whereby profit is not one of the objectives.

I find projects like these funny. It comes across as one of national pride rather than economic development. What's the percentage of Akwa Ibomites that will use this Airport, 4% maybe. Even within these 4%, how may will be frequent travelers (monthly)? Are these 4% going to be enough to cover the monthly operating costs? I'm not saying there is a right or wrong to opening an airport, just that it is an intriguing decision.

Let's hope it will be run as a business and he doesn't turn it to free charter services for his family and friends.
