Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has called on Nigerian authors to always come up with books that will focus more on the cultural value of the nation.

The governor who made the call at the public presentation of a book titled ” Tales of a troubadour by a foremost writer and former federal lawmaker, Dr Wale Okediran in Ibadan said Nigerians must imbibe a good reading culture to be acquainted with books that will enrich their knowledge in every facet of life.

Akeredolu commended the author for always giving it a deep thought to write about political issues which will in no small way serve as reference point and guide for generations coming behind.

The author of the 28 chapters book, Dr Wale Okediran said his experience over the years within and outside the country inspired him to contribute to the world of literary writing

On his part, The book publisher, Yinka Solarin while enjoining government at all levels to support the publication of books through good policies, the book publisher, Yinka Solarin noted that the write up will educate the masses on political and socio economic issues.
