Liverpool may have won the Champions League but they will not be taking part in the FIFA Club World Cup this year The Reds ran out 2-0 winners over Premier League rivals Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid to get their hands on a sixth European Cup. Traditionally, the winner of the Champions League is automatically entered into the Club World Cup which takes place every December However, this year’s Club World Cup has been moved, with the next edition not due to be until 2021.
