Even if the result stays like this till the final minute the game would be brought to a halt, it would still be an embarrassing result for the Giant of women football on the African continent to lose by 3 goals to nothing to a mere Norwegian team. I just hope they will step up their game defensively so as not to concede more goals....

HT Norway 3 - 0 Nigeria

Oshoala is so lost in the game.. Ayinde not supporting the attacks in front. Chukwuelu doing impressive work in the midfield

Ordega has been fantastic

Oga! You high chief o... I swear how you manage to use impressive and fantastic in describing Nigerian players still baffles me. Especially with the scoreline.

Nigerian football is in totally shambles due to bad officials, corruption (bribing before your name is being included in the team list), Imagine the under20 boys going to a tournament just to be a partaker with no formation, no Winger no striker no ambition to score a goal or win a game. The super eagles couldn't win a low rank team like Zimbabwe and then the Falcons are being pummeled wtf.

All the surprised people on this thread, is this your first time watching a women World Cup? Nigeria always loses at the World Cup. The super falcons once lost 7-1

And why didn't the teams we played against score is too? Do we blame theirs coaches in Africa too? Or say African football is improving and Nigeria no longer have it easy as before?
my point is we are still struggling with goal scoring, the manager should have done something after the nations cup, like shake the team up a little, but it is still the same starting line up, same position, same tactics.

I'm not watching though but when I saw the lineup,my eye went straight to Faith Ikidi-Micheal. I knew that the defence will be shaky cuz she is old and lacks pace for a wing back. I watched the AFCON when the coach started Ogonna, the defence was a bit stable.

NFF and grade D coaches are like five and six. I could remember when the list was released,I feard for this kind of scenario when I saw only 5 defenders for a tournament and most of them are old. So i'm not really surprised.

S/O to my girl Franny,I heard she is the standout performer for us as usual.

What do you mean by mere Norwegian team? They are one of the best teams in female football. Bookies gave them a 80 percent chance of winning today.

This coach is really wack, not a single encouragement for the 18 year old Okeke. Asisat has been the pioneer of the team so far. How unprepared can a team be?

You tweak when you have options. Which players are available aside these ones? Yes, this performance may improve with some tactical changes, but according to the commentator, this coach is very experienced, having coached either Norway/Sweden and brought the team to the WC twice
