The people of Ondo state has very reason to be apprehensive, it is clear to all of us in the southwest region. This is not only a southwest issue, it relates to the completely 36 state of the federation. The issue of kidnapping, herdsmen and other vices are not only limited to Ondo state alone, nevertheless there are collective efforts in collaboration with the federal government to create a lasting solution to this menace.
According to the Governor, he stated that, ‘I would be specific to the insecurity problem in the southwest and Ondo state in particular, upon our last meeting in the south west governors forum, we have taken a decision to put in place a security summit in the south west region. We have already done that in Ondo state, nevertheless we have working on getting our security agencies and personnel fully equipped to effectively run well.
