Saraki will forever be remembered as defiant and wise considering how he was able to disrupt the plan of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015, to impose the leaders of the 8th National Assembly as well as firmly held onto his position of Senate President until he completed his term despite the many battles he faced.

Whereas, the 9th National Assembly will be inaugurated tomorrow with new leaders elected, hence, all eyes will be on the second arm of government to see if history will repeat itself especially when some APC lawmakers-elect like Saraki and Dogara in 2015, have refused to submit to the “unidealistic” idea of party supremacy.
