The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB has said an Igbo man could not be the president of Nigeria again, adding that South-east leaders must prevent marauding herdsmen from overrunning their land.

The National Director of Information of MASSOB, Sunday Okerefor, stated this in an interview with Punch on Saturday in which he also accused the federal government of granting the N100 billion request of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association members, MACBAN.

Speaking on the 2023 presidency, Okerefor said an Igbo man could not be president again and that they are also not interested in the office.

He said, “We are not interested in the Presidency; an Igbo man cannot be President again. If the currency is naira, then they will never allow Igbo to rule again. NAIRA as an acronym means Never Allow Igbo Rule Again. These Igbo politicians are aware of it; they say that the Igbo were defeated in the war; they would say that we should go home and take care of our children and forget about an Igbo president.”

MASSOB said as a matter of urgency all monarchs, senators, and governors in the region must chase out the Fulani.

That's how it has being designed after the civil war and they will be preaching oneness and togetherness! How come this statement is even coming out from the government sponsored arm of the Biafra?

Am glad they could stare and broadcast what's facing them.

Its just so impossible. Even a Senegalese will win elections against an Igbo man in Nigeria.

Even if Igbo wants to rule Nigeria, the other Igbo people will pull him down.

Even Odumegwu Ojukwu was not voted for in Alaigbo when he contested the presidential election

I'm very happy they are beginning to come to their senses, because the igbo people's characters is the most primitive in the entire planet Earth. They are very good in preserving the early stages of evolutionary evolvement.

We had regional government in 1960, why did Namdi Azikiwe play national politics?

Obasanjo said that there is agreement Northern and South west made against Southeast.
That southeast will not rule Nigerian till 150yr after the civil war, that Igbo's are place on a glass ceiling.

Let the other regions support an Igbo man to become president, his own people will not support him. Hatred dwells in their blood and that is the root cause of their downfall in the Nigerian political scape..

Hey man, Nnamdi Azikiwe never contested being the Governor General and President. He wanted to be the Prime Minister. He was just given the other post as the leader of the other party after coalition. So don’t talk about any “ceremonial position” here.

Moreover, stop consoling yourself and counteracting yourself.
Why did Odumegwu Ojukwu contest the post of the presidency?

Yes yu ar right bcs I see no reason why the PDP that Ibo are dying for over 16 good years couldn't even zone vice president position to the SE even for once in 16 years

PDP doesn't believe in IBO leadership in Nigeria for reasons best known to them that's why Ibo can never never and ever become president under PDP

All Ibo need to liberate themselves from the political marginalization is a very strong leader like Jagaban but unfortunately they think godfatherism is a disaster to politic while reverse is the case

No standout leader to fight for yu nd yu expect external to play major role for u to achieve ur political ambition for ur region ?
