Some folks making comments here don't seem to know that North Korea is a feared/respected country on the international stage.

Int’l delegations arrive for June 12 Democracy day celebration

June 11, 2019

International delegations are already arriving the country ahead of the inaugural June 12Democracy day celebration.

So far, the Prime Minister of Ugandan and his Venezuelan counterpart, have arrived in Abuja for the Wednesday’s event.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday signed the Public Holiday Amendment bill into law. The law recognises June 12 as Public Holiday while May 29 would only be handover date.

Recall that the President Muhammadu Buhari had in 2018 announced June 12 democracy day, a move that received widespread jubilation and acceptance.

Tofax:

Nigeria has always been great. but decades ( 1966 till date) of embezzlement & corruption has rendered her incapacitated.
What about the massive corruption between 1897 and 1960? Do you realise your colonial rulers embezzled 95% of your annual income? Why do you think you were an undeveloped bush at independence without a single power station, university, or expressway despite white rule of nearly a century? Sorry, Nigeria's wahala did not start in 1966 but at least 70 years prior. It was actually after independence till now that we started seeing major infrastructural progress.

We REDUCED corruption at independence. Instead of 95% being embezzled annually, it was around 20% if that. That is why we have the infrastructure we do today.

Slaveboy to whites, I am pointing out the TRUTH about your country, which, as a colonised, white worshiping slave, you do not want to hear. If the whites were still ruling, you'd be a fcking illiterate like your grandpa because they built very few schools and no universities in 70 years of rulership. Heck, our first power station, Kainji Dam, was built AFTER they left, in 1964. So let's not get things twisted. You bomboclat idiots always come in here trying to claim Nigeria was some sort of paradise UNTIL the independence era, and that is a total falsehood. There was mass illiteracy and malnutrition at independence, and we have gotten progressively better till date.

Did the whites not colonise India, Malaysia, Indonesia etc? Was China and Kporea not colonised?
When will blacks stop whining about the past and take responsibility for their present and future
Instead of doing that we are queuing up for their visas, buying and using the latest things and services created by the same whites we blame for all our woes.
is there any chance that we will grow up soon
Meanwhile what happened with the Arabs who colonised, through the Fulanis, and continue to do so plus the enslavement?

Associating with these countries is a good terms but I think our government should associate with countries that can help us out from this economic recession and not a country that we can even lend for.
Governments should work on their self because they know actually where the downfall of Nigeria is coming from, so they should work on their self and not this unhelpful association with these countries.

Some people have asked why we only invited socialist countries. The dignitaries shown above are not the only dignitaries that were invited. Many more dignitaries are on their way. Some will arrive tonight and others will arrive tomorrow morning.
