It's not a new uniforn for the police force. There are various sections of the police that have their unique uniforms, eg. A mobile policeman's uniform is slightly different from a regular policeman's uniform.

She has just been transfered to the Force Provost Department. That's the department that deals with disciplinary issues and that's the uniform that officers in that department have been wearing for ages.

calm down sir. What she ment was the new special features in her uniform now. Military and para military personell most times wear tags and insigna of their division or section. She's in the discpline department now and thats why she's putting that on. Notice hw military police dress diffrently with the other soldiers.

That is not Police new uniform. It is a department called Provost in police. Growing up those days in the Barrack if you see these Provost officers just know say there want come eject somebody (There no they hear abeg). Officers in this department are heartless!

The Nigeria Police did not change uniform. Each department in the Nigeria Police has their own dressing code. Special Protection Unit (SPU) dress differently from the MOPOL. Just like the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) of the Nigeria Police also dress differently. This is to enable for easy identification.
