Scorpions are crawling small animals that lives around our surroundings and bushes nearby, they are found around during the dry and rainy seasons but are more pronounced during the rainy season because they love hiding in wet or hidden places. There are about 1500 species of scorpions but about 30 species are more virulent and dangerous if bitten, according to research, scorpions bite are not that harmful to adults if prophylactic measures are put in place, but may be harmful to the children due to the neurotoxins they released. CLEAR THE SURROUNDING BUSHES

Make sure all the bushes around your area or environment are cleared properly, scorpions are one of the most small dangerous animals that can hide under anywhere suitable for them, they can be camouflaging most times and you won't know that they are even under that grass you thought you have cleared if not properly cleared, so when clearing your house bushes or grasses, clear them to the minimal level to avoid this deadly predators.

SWEEP THE SURROUNDING AREAS OFTEN

This is important to be sure you are free from any dangerous crawling insects, sweep thoroughly the corners of your rooms, veranda, any confined corners, rugs, carpets, and likes, most times scorpions likes hiding under/around the afore motioned areas.

BE VIGILANT & HOLD A TORCH OR LAMP WITH YOU

This is paramount especially at night, don't believe you see all at night, many people have been ignorantly bitten by scorpions and snakes at night or when they sleep at night, you need a torch or lamp to be beside you everytime you are indoor or outdoor when there is no electric power supply and if there is power supply, its advisable to use white lightning bulbs than the yellow ones due to its clarity.

USE CRAWLING INSECTS KILLING CHEMICALS

Use effective crawling inscects killing chemicals when you are outdoors, this might be offensive to scorpions and ward them off from your vicinity.

Unless spiritual attached, but with this aforementioned measures above, you should be free off of any dangerous crawling insects or animals.
