Gov Wike urges oil companies to embark on meaningful projects in host communities. Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has stated that the State Government will not tolerate the shutting down of oil production facilities of operating companies in the state. Governor Nyesom-Wike said under no circumstances should communities take laws into their hands by preventing oil production companies from working.
