A Nigerian Air Force owned helicopter has mysteriously crash-landed at the Katsina Airport recently and is currently under investigations. Read the update here!

This update came as a shock to us here at Naijauto.com as it claims that a certain NAF (Nigerian Air Force) helicopter mysteriously crash-landed during the early hours of Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

The crashed was reported to have occurred while the helicopter was trying to land on returning from a recent combat (anti-banditry) mission under the operation “HADARAN DAJI”.

The accident was also reported to have occurred sometime around 3:30 pm on that Wednesday.

Air Commodore “Ibikunle Daramola” who is the current NAF Spokesman made a statement regarding this incident where he claimed that it occurred right at the Airport in Katsina. He also said;

“However, there was no loss of life, either of persons on board the helicopter or on the ground,”

“NAF continues to solicit the understanding and support of the general public as it daily strives to ensure the security of Nigeria and Nigerians,”

He mentioned in his statement that top directives have been given for immediate examination to determine the actual cause of this incident.
