The indigenous hausa ppl have absolutely NO power! all positions of leadership are replaced by fulanus. no ward heads, district heads, commisioners, senators, LG chairman, all....you see it in their faces....defenseless, battered, defeated, DEAD as in Zombies - no offense. Dirt poor, you find large number of them in Abuja selling sugarcane, shoe cobblers, mai barrow etc. But guess what? These same people being killed will still vote Buhari 10x because they believe he's doing whats best for Islam. When I was there some 3 yrs back, I personally witnessed the harrasment of some youth because of their hairstyles. If you keep some 'hair' on your head, they attack you for 'trying' to be christian. Just prayer and their shop for men. Women don't come outside in daytime... They believe women who do so are prostitutes. The only women you see outside selling food or working for money are yorubas etc. |

Seriously baffling that a poor community can be attacked uninterrupted and left both woman and kids killed like a common Rats in the presence of a working Government . Na wa o Fulani people from Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger are running away from their desert lands and killing Nigerians to take their land. In some places they even rename villages and settle down. It's a serious problem all over West Africa. If we like we can deceive ourselves and pretend that's not what it is. |
