Taking a close look at the timeline of political development in our beloved nation Nigeria, it is indispensable to take a worthy notice of the tenacity, persistency, insistent drive, doggedness and obstinacy displayed beyond borders by our patriotic nationalists. Persons who, through the insight of their mind and acumen of their soul, found the possibility of what was yet unknown among us.

And we do know that they did win, for hitherto, the ideologies of their personalities resound in the system we operate. The characteristics of these Nigerians in fact, and nothing more pretentious, are what portray the ideal tool of governance.

What is Gender? Many an argument persists for lack of clearly defined linguistic inferences. To this end, here we go. Gender is derived from the Middle English word “gendre”, from Middle French “genre”, and from Latin “genus”. The word means “kind”, “type”, or “sort”. Gender is the range of characteristics pertaining to, and differentiating between, masculinity and femininity.
