Mikel kills Nigeria's gameplay and how this coach doesn't see that baffles me. He plays in a deeper role in his club. But whenever he comes here we play him in 10. It's obvious he is finished there. Either play him alongside Ndidi in CM and play Iwobi in 10 or drop him totally.

I LOVE Chukwueze. Been a loooooong time I have been so excited about a Nigerian player.

Hope we get the goals second half, though

There is nothing tactical about the team....... foreign coach indeed.....using Mikel, ndidi and etebo in the midfield....who is gonna drive the ballcommon sense is play iwobi directly behind the striker....take Mikel or etebo off and play musa on the flank.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with our wingers... Chukwueze has been deadly and impressive. He's jus lacking d final ball but it's annoying how every time he's running with d ball, no single player is around him to give him options... He's always isolated, no support wateva.. Which is why Mikel has been absolutely useless. Any sensible coach would take out Mikel or Etebo, move Iwobi to d number 10 position and bring in Onyekuru and den watch Burundi collect

Is a reflection of the poverty level in Africa. Our leaders don't want a strong middle class. "Na who chop dey buy ticket"

Chukwueze has been the only significant player for the Nigerian side. That Burundi player is just dominating the midfield. Akpeyi is doing well. Who's that idiot that fell in front of goal before the close of the first half?

And Iwobi...to be fair

Mikel needs to be out of this match he's not taking the ball forward
Re: Nigeria Vs Burundi: AFCON 2019 (1 - 0) Full Time by chrmn1: 6:55pm On Jun 22, 2019
Final ball been terrible, first touch, composure in the final third lacking.

Aina, Iwobi, Ndidi, Etebo have been the brighter lights. Central defense has been suspect, Mikel quite poor, Chukwueze selfish and killed lots of promising attacks. Onuachukwu poor.

I'm looking at the Burundi coach and I'm wondering why CAF even bothered about bringing balls to the stadium. Imean, that man has enough balls in his stomach to last the duration of this match. That would have saved the organizers some money.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles are making Berahino and his crew feel like class acts. I Don't Like That.

Let Musa be introduced ASAP. We need fire in this game, so we don't go the way of DRC

you guys blaming Mikel don't know football at all, you guys should blame the coach for this useless formation... iwobi is not good at that left front, etobo and Ndidi finds it difficult to playmake Mikel, that coach needs to revert back to a 433 with musa coming in and get that Paul out for igaloh

Four four two is the formation bestowed on us by the gods of soccer. We must return to our roots!

Can the Coach just bring on Musa on the other wing, with Chuckwueze on the other.
Onuachu needs direct service.
Iwobi should play attacking midfield while Mikel should drop to 4.
Ndidi has been impressive so far.
Our keeper need concentration.
