American Start-up Company Wants To Bring Back Supersonic Passenger Flight by TheAviator: 1:50pm On Jun 19, 2019
Fifteen years after the last flight of the Concorde, American aerospace startup company, Boom Supersonic, has unveiled its plan to bring back supersonic flight to commercial air travel by building the world’s fastest civil aircraft.

At the ongoing Paris Air Show 2019, the founder of Boom Supersonic, Blake Scholl, announced that his company is designing a 55-passenger supersonic transport airplane that could fly twice the speed of sound. Boom Supersonic projects that its aircraft will make it possible to fly from London to New York in three hours, 15 minutes. Boom says it has a mission to change the way we travel.

Blake Scholl says that new technologies will allow SUPERSONIC flight to be accessible to millions of people "in a way that is economically and environmentally sustainable." The company has raised $141 million to build the Mach 2.2 supersonic airliner, called Overture. Would you like to fly supersonic?

THE FUTURE IS SUPERSONIC!

The concorde was dope but had too many issues hence its decommission. If there's a way to make the same service affordable or still available it will encourage the growth of transnational businesses.
