Usually, attendance mark can be as much as 20 marks, depending on the instructor in charge of the lecture. Some lecturers even go to extent of allotting zero marks for a single absence. So next time, don’t be surprised for not scoring as high as you hoped in that easy course you always missed its lectures.

2. Most exam questions come from lectures
Experienced lecturers don’t set questions from course materials or prepared notes. Rather, they prefer to set questions from random obscure information they pass during lectures. By being absent from lectures, you put yourself at risk of missing out from such important information.
