What is our sin in this country?

Our sin is ignorance as a people. We think democracy is electing or changing governments then sitting down to lounge. Such is akin to a farmer planting seeds then going to sleep for months expecting a bumper harvest.

I suppose you are somewhere abroad so you can physically experience political activism in whatever country you are. How leadership is held accountable on the minutest of issues INCESSANTLY.

Using the US as example, has Trump experienced even one day of rest since becoming President 3 years ago, that is despite the economy, security and institutions doing exceotionally well, the people are not satisfied. They want more, demand perfection.

Here they will label you a renegade, a hater, so you keep quiet as our leaders expect while they fumble.

I do admit that the democracy thing is still in its relative infancy so we should be circumspect about our expectation of government but you have to expect that the rapidity of change of any living thing is observed in its infancy. Adults rarely do, so the pressure to get a working democracy and reasonably good government is a logical expectation if Nigerians feel it is a worthwhile venture to fight for.

Only the most fundamental fanatics of this administration will admit that it is doing well by any index of life and living.
