Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has pledged his unwavering commitment to fostering societal cohesion and grassroots development through dissemination of credible and timely information to all nooks and crannies of Ondo state.

The Governor gave the remark at the official commissioning of Kakaki community radio 100.1fm in Ondo city, headquarters of Ondo west council area noted that Kakaki community radio will promote the sociocultural heritage of Ondo kingdom as well as galvanizing massive citizens participation in democratic process.

The Governor who was represented by the Chairman, management committee of OSRC and Orange fm, Mr kunle Adebayo enjoined the media station not to be an instrument of disunity but coordinate mutual understanding and improved synergy among diversed segments of the society.

Responding, the General Manager of the station, Prince Adebola Adeyileka who thanked Governor Akeredolu for providing an enabling environment for the media industry to thrive assured the public on accurate news and rich programme content with a flair for encouraging communication in Ondo native dialect.
