If we cant get simple things like transporting containers safely then what exactly can africans do>?

Keep Africans out of this.
Nigeria alone please.

Trucks don't fall on people in Kenya and Namibia.... only in the braggart giant of Africa

shocked Jesus! Until the populace revolt, government will never be proactive against the menace articulated vehicles pose on Nigerian roads esp.in Lagos.

Its the bad roads. The govt needs to fix the bad roads so as to save lives. But U are right if we don't revolt against the govt lives will continue to be lost needlessly

The way some things are left unattended to in this country baffles some of us. For a long period of time now, this avoidable accident that normally leads to the death of innocent people has been going on and yet nothing has been done about it to put a stop to it. This kind attitude leaves you to ask, is there a government in this country? It's a pity!

[All these trailers and containers whatever should be moving only at nights. Same thing happened in Ibadan Town planning junction on Monday but as luck will have it there was no casualty.

AutoReportNG:
Lagos State is really battling for its life in terms of trucks and containers in the state. Last week, it was reported that a 20ft container fell on some cars at Apapa where they cause serious damages to both the cars and the owners. Just this week, another container has fallen on a Danfo Bus at Iyana Iba. Though it was reported that no casualties as the bus was empty when the incident occurred.

Men of the LASTMA were already on the ground to control traffic and to ensure a smooth flow for drivers.

Even though there was a presidential order to get rid of these trucks off the road, the order has been effective save for some parts in Apapa and Tincan Port where they are yet to fully comply.

These are images from the scene.

So long as people like you will refuse to identify and face the real issues, solutions will still be far away. Rarely will you find a truck falling on a good road, it is deep pot holes that cause trucks to fall, that is the real issue as it concerns falling trucks.

Why do danfo drivers always compete with trailer drivers in portholes around Lagos mind boggling?

It seems like spirit of death has been released in Nigeria. If the herdsmen don't kill, ritualistic will kill, or kidnappers will kill. Cultist also have their share in the killings. Countless scores are committing suicide. Containers are falling on cars. Sars are also killing.

But if you hide yourself under the shadow of the Almighty, death will not near you in the name of Jesus.

No be lie bro, within a space of 3 days. One fell on cars at Apapa on June 16, Another one at Volks, not far from Iyana Iba on same June 15 and this one above happened on June 17. What a country we are living in.
Re: Container Truck Falls On A Danfo Bus At Iyana Iba, Lagos by Angelfrost(m): 4:31pm On Jun 20, 2019
Just imagine if there were passengers in that bus... There would have been nothing meaningful left of them to bury...

Leaving Lagos was easily the best decision ever made... You leave home everyday with a 50-50 chance of returning home alive, dead, or maimed for life...

State governors need to step up, develop their states, and help decongest that so called "Center of Excellence". undecided

The problem is that our so called leaders will never take a proactive stance against such menace until they themselves, their love ones or relatives become a victim of it.....Thank God no life was lost
