Pray without ceasing

Acts 12:1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
12:2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
12:3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Beloved, prayer is a life of Christian. Prayer was a life our Lord Jesus Christ exhibited. Jesus Christ prayed and prayed through in all aspects and He was consistently praying daily for His mission and ministry on earth, not only that He interceded for Peter and the Church.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Our Lord Jesus never waited for circumstances to unfold before praying. Now, Beloved make prayer a part of your life - let it be a part of you. In the text above, the Apostles did not pray and for that reason James was killed and their eyes became opened when Peter was arrested, then they began to give diligence to prayer but one is certain: the damage was done, James had died.

Beloved, this is the time for you to pray never like before. It is a time for you to rise up and stand in the gap for your life, your destiny, your family, your home, the Church, your country, your walk with GOD, your marriage and those related to you and many more as you are led to do so. Beloved, don't make prayer a spare tyre in which when there is problem you begin to find quick solution. Pray for every situation now.

Be an intercessor, give diligence to prayer. Don't face challenges before you pray. The consequences may be grievous. Your prayer may be answered but the damage would have already be done. Our Lord Jesus prayed ahead of His ministry, during His ministry and the very end of His ministry - this is an example to you and I that prayer is a life of no end. It is a continual process - without ceasing.

Pray that you will not become a prey to the works of the enemy. Also Beloved, when praying always pray according to the will of GOD i.e let your prayer be backed by the scripture and pray in the Holy Ghost - this eliminates selfishness in prayer. Let your prayer be scripture based ; it is very important.

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Please Beloved, do not faint in the place of prayer, for we are in the end time and we must watch and pray. Pray without ceasing. Make prayer a matter of seriousness in your life and you will come out victorious like Jesus Christ did at the end.

1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

May the Lord GOD give you the grace to pray without ceasing in Jesus name. Amen.
