Honorable Kabiru Amadu (Mai Palace) has joined active politics under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and once in his life aspired to be a member, House of Representatives, and successfully won a party ticket due to his unrelenting efforts and glaring humanitarian gestures. He, however, contested and won the seat of Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency following the Supreme Court judgment by Justice Paul Galinji in delivering the lead judgment on Friday 24th May that said all votes cast for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the elections amounted to "wasted votes" and efforts for not conducting a lawful primaries which invalidated the participation of the APC in the Governorship, National Assembly and State Assembly elections in Zamfara State. Thus, overthrowing the empire of the state political predators which culminated in dynastic revolution that brought about significant changes in the history of the state politics and, indeed, terminated the predators dynasty and placed the new faces in running the affairs of the state aimed at restoring the state into its shape which has, so far, introduced a new and beautiful era in the history of Zamfara state.

The first impression is the last impression. Mai Palace, and indeed by character, ideology and temperament, is specially fitted to represent the peoples of Gusau/Tsafe and heal the wounds caused to the constituency by some selfish representatives who had ridiculously represented the constituency.

In less than one Month in the office, Mai Palace has been performing exceedingly well in all the strata and promises made to the people during the electioneering. He glaringly chooses to be the servant of the people so as to serve their interest and aspirations.

Everyone will, so far, attest to what has been achieved on the ground will play a crucial role if remembered and utilized in the history of Zamfara politics. Moreover, his righteousness, talent and brilliant legislation, Mai Palace, had so much impressed the people of the state via his brilliant representation and makes him stand tall and therefore becomes highly a topic of discuss in the state wherever people assembled. In addition, he enthroned himself in the hearts of all the people by character, welfare and wonderful representation considering his early gestures.

Consequently, most of the officials he has appointed to serve in his office have also been appointed based on merit and righteousness.

Honestly and sincerity to duty are the main qualifications for appointments in his reputable office believing the fact that all his aides were noted for their righteousness and devotion to their duties for the people of the constituency. This policy affected the aristocracy of the previous and future legislators in the constituency and the state in general.

The importance of voting competent people in any office is that - first they will be accountable to the people who voted them into the office and tried to make a difference in their communities. We have witnessed several incidents in the country where serving legislators whom had been stoned or attacked because they failed to have a concrete impact on their constituency and the nation as a whole. If they were competent legislators like Mai Palace such incidents will never occur.

Alhamdulillah, now the state is in the hands of the strong, wise, talented, focused and purposeful young people that I strongly believed these qualities will surely disarm the enemies of the state and shame the oppositions.
