Can you imagine. That is how insecurity spreads round the nation. What is he doing with those arms and ammunition? Only God can save the poor in this part of the world.

If this is true the FG don't need to go shopping for arms and ammunition to prosecute the war in the NE again- now, see what our governors are using their immunity for? Illegal arms trafficking I am sure all the pump action guns the customs seized some years again were on their way to another governors lodge somewhere - I pledge to nigeria my country to be FAITH LOYAL and HONEST

What da fvck!!!
He bought guns with state money for what reasons, you just stored guns. This is the first to read such.

Police should search his underground house at Ibara estate for more secret weapons.

Imagine this nonsense. He should be arrested with immediate effect. Like who or what gave him the right to Harbour such heavy amount of ammunition.

I'll keep saying this that our politicians are our greatest enemy because they don't want anything good for us. To think he won't even give any of his sons and daughters those guns to fight for him shows the level of wickedness in him.

Arrant nonsense.

shocked

A few hours to the end of his reign as Ogun State helsman, embattled Governor Ibikunle Amosun contacted the state’s Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, confessing that he had thousands of arms and millions of ammunition in store at a secret armoury in Government House, and that he had decided to hand them over to the police

Official thuggery vs the fear of karma. The present administration may us it against them now that power has changed hands.

Find out sponsors of every illegality in the society, the hand of government officers are involved, from political thuggery, oil theft, boko haram, kidnappings, illegal mining, illicit drug sales and abuse, ritual, killings, economic sabotage to outright evil.

It's POWER at all cost. As if they will not die again.

Anyone suprised. He thought the battle between his candidate and the APC candidate would be close tie, then he would unleash his thugs bearing ak47s. As God would have it, his candidate was beaten beyond their imagination.

1000 ak47 in a government house. Is Ogun state at war?

Had his candidate won, he wouldn't have surrendered them. Smart dude. He didn't want the incumbent Governor to fish him out.
Where were custom officials when all these were imported sef? If it were trailer loads of goods, they will seize it. Especially, if the goods belong to people from a particular tribe. Corruption everywhere
