We are recruiting to fill the position of a Chief Executive Officer for our client in the Healthcare sector.

To lead and direct the finance function of  the company with adequate funding and accurate reporting (financial & management), support the achievement of the company’s strategic and commercial goals; from economic perspective all legal, company secretarial and corporate governance requirements are met, contracts with vendors serve the company’s need; and that relationships with suppliers are optimized.

Job Description


Internal treasury management
Identify, plan and enlist future funding with Board support. Act as chief advisor and strategist providing needed support to the CEO, employees, and Board with respect to the identification of financial risk and long-term financial effect of company decisions (through Financial Scenario Analysis).
Financial strategy and planning with multi-year modeling in line with environmental and competitive realities of the business
Annual budgets with a 2-year horizon
Quarterly forecasting with communication to board
Accounting: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting to board and externally
Reporting: internal reporting on P&L and cash flow
Determine & develop adequate pricing models to support the business
Financial analysis/approval of Business Unit plans and investment decisions
Develop and implement effective Finance and Accounting systems, processes, procedures and policies which provide effective control in the deployment and utilization of capital and assets.
Coaching employees and enabling them to better understand governance
Risk management
Internal Control
External audit
Regulatory & tax compliance (Financial Reporting Council, Federal Inland Revenue Service, State Inland Revenue Service, ITF, NSITF etc)
Manage risk and return of company financial assets.
Act as custodian of company assets (control, loss protection, internal controls).
Provide analysis and other support to Board/Board Committees

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

 
▪ Chartered Accountant. Additional certification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CPP, CFA, and CPA) preferred.

▪ 10+ years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting, including managing a broad finance department and integration of Finance with other functions, out of which at least 5 years as CFO

▪ Relevant experience in operating a financial shared service organization would be an advantage

▪ Strong financial analysis skills

▪ Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting

▪ Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications.

▪ Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.

▪ Good business presentation and facilitation skills.
