This is to draw the attention of Kwara State Governor Abdulrazaq to as a matter of urgency kindly reopen Bishop Smith Anglican Memorial College, Ilorin shut down on Friday June 21, 2019 as a result of religious crisis.
The issue is because of some unscrupulous elements trying to turn a purely Missionary School to a state controlled.
The management of the School said they dont want a Mosque errected on the School premises based on the fact that it is a Christian and since even in a purely Muslim Schhol, holding of Christian prayer is not allowed.
In order to foster peace, Gov.Abdulrazaq should intervene before this snowball into a major crisis by opening the school without any delay so as not to affect the Students progress.
May the Harmony of Kwara never turn sour.

Funny emough, Ministry of Education instructed the Principal to rebuild the Mosque and provide all the necessary amenities.
This is purely a missionary school and guiding principle must be respected.

There should be religion tolerance, no one should violate simple principle

Goverment should look into why a Christian school should be forced to have a Mosque

Muslims looking for trouble everywhere in this country just because their religious extremist alike is in power.

It's high time they got whatever they wanted in this country.

Christians, better prepare for the worst and defend yourselves as 'THE AGENDA' is no longer a child's play.

please any info on this topic. I know it's post pandemic but how is the school fairing. I am a past student of BSMC and I plan to even revisit ... well, I was touched to hear that they are trying to convert the schools purpose by erecting a mosque. it's not like it's bad anyway.. I was amongst those little ones that helped at the chapel when it was still under construction. .. I can imagine what it'll be like for the students to see a mosque the next day.. lol. c'mon my surname is kasali.. I have Muslim families but to be frank the idea isn't in correspondence
