DONALD TRUMP’s chances of invading Iran have been dismissed completely out of hand by a top Iranian military chief with tensions escalating and Tehran just a day away from breaching its uranium stockpile limit.

Brigadier General Amtrak Hajizadeh, the head of the Revolutionary Guards aerospace division has been quoted as saying: “Neither America nor any other country would dare violate Iranian soil.” It comes as tensions continue to escalate between the two bitter ideological opponents. Iran has been opposed to the US ever since the 1979 Islamic Revolution replaced their pro-Washington modernising Shah, who was overthrown with a theocracy.

Iran had until then enjoyed good relations with Israel, but ever since has engaged in proxy wars and is locked in a battle with Saudi Arabia for control over the wider Middle East and Central Asia region.
Tehran has pursued nuclear weapons in the past but signed a deal with the EU, USA, UK, France, Germany, EU, Russia and China to downscale its programme.
Mr Trump was a long time critic of the Obama-era deal and withdrew from it last year.

He then introduced sanctions to prevent Tehran from accessing the US financial system and trading with the US dollar. President Rouhani described the White House as "mentally retarded". The aim was for the high-pressure strategy to reopen negotiations, but instead tensions have just continued to boil over.

Two oil tankers were attacked in the Gulf of Oman and Washington has released photos it claims shows Revolutionary Guards removing an unexploded mine from one of the two ships. Britain, who had been trying to rescue the deal with Paris and Berlin, said it agreed with the US. Next, a US spy drone was shot down with Iran claiming it violating their airspace but the US claims it was in international airspace.

The US has in the last 48 hours ramped up sanctions targeting 8 senior commanders and the office of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, it is hoped by the US that these sanctions will greatly limit Tehran’s financial resources and get assistance.
President Hassan Rouhani said the actions proved the White House was “mentally retarded”.

President Trump said the developments showed Iran’s leaders “do not understand reality”. Russia however has vowed to defend Iran in the wake of these menacing threat from the US and Britain. Russia has openly declared support for Iran and had said she would counter any more sanctions the US is imposing on Iran and had also after an earlier failure to ease sanctions, announced it would breach their uranium stockpile limit within ten days, which will be tomorrow.

Although I agree that Iranian leaders are foolish because they were warned not to go into any agreement with America, they will never abide by the rules of engagement. Eventually it turned out right. During the time of Ahmadinejad as president the west and especially Isreal was very wary of Iran, they had commerce boom and their economy was stable. When Rouhani got there he wanted to be liberal and do business with the west, he opened the doors of Iran to her worst neighbors and invited Americans to come do business with them. Where has that gotten them? Nowhere!

Even Vladimir Putin warned them about trusting the US and now they have no friends expect Russia. What the US, Saudi and Isreal is mostly afriad of is the joint task force of UAE, Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Lebanon, Kuwait and Turkey that they are about to set up. That will really spell doom for the US and her allies.

Where do you guys get your misinformation from. First and foremost, Al Qaeda predates all those wars. It was never an aftermaths of Iraq war. Al Qaeda was founded in 1988 by Bin Laden. How is it an aftermath of America invading Iraq? Bin laden was not even an Iraqi/

What about al shabbad ? Al Shabbab was founded in Africa Somalia just like Boko Haram Nigeria. It’s establishment had nothing to do with Afghanistan. It’s just an extremist group that want to establish caliphate in east Africa

Exactly my thought, baba just want to win his reelection now, and I believe this is what Iran is capitalising on.

They want him to make just one mistake, trust America CNN and other opposition candidates, they will definitely use it against him.

Before you say anything good or stupid why don't you a little thing called verification? All the aforementioned doesn't necessarily have to be Iran's ally but they will all sleep better if Iran didnt breach their uranium enrichment program. A nuclear Iran in that region is more deadly than the US and Isreal put together. In the face of these sanctions and restrictions it spells doom for them all. Is denuclearization of Iran in America's best interest or are they really looking out for the people in that region as they always claim? Let that sink in a little.
