Residents of Oke-Iba area, Ikirun in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State were on Sunday thrown into mourning as one Azeez Adeleke was allegedly beaten to death by suspected sons of a popular Islamic cleric in the town.

Azeez, 25, who is a mechanic was said to have attended a birthday party of one of his colleagues, Adebayo Wasiu’s son held at the Igbole area of the town, and wa descended upon over a little argument by Simiu Hassan, Jelili Hassan, Abiodun Hasan and Ridwan Hassan.

The deceased was reported to have challenged the four brothers who were allegedly seating on his motorcycle.

According to a close family source, who simply identified himself as Hakeem “He attended the birthday party organized by Wasiu for his child on Sunday. He had a work at hand earlier which made him to attend the event late. He got there around 5pm and left 7pm.
