The present administration in Ondo State is committed to the establishment of a deep Seaport at the southern senatorial district with a view to broadening the economic prospects of the land and its people.

The chief executive officer, Ondo State Development and Investment Promotion Agency ONDIPA, Mr Boye Oyewumi while speaking on Orange FM’s programme Business Guide submitted that governor Akeredolu’s industrialisation drive is aimed at sustainable economic development

Mr Oyewumi who doubles as the Special Adviser to governor Akeredolu on Development and Investment while enumerating the Ondo /Linyi industrial park at Ore, the papers and textile mills ,ethanol , tricycle assembly plant and dry egg processing factory as manifestation of government’s commitment to empowering the people with massive job creation stressed that more opportunities are in the pipeline to boost the state economic potentials

The governor’s aide further explained that Arakunrin Akeredolu will leave no stone unturned in his resolve to transform ondo state from a civil service enclave to an industrialised haven with viable private sector driven initiatives .
