Mend’s Bombing Timeline by muhsin(m): 12:59pm On Oct 07, 2010
15th March 2010 - Bomb blast rocks Post-Amnesty Summit in Delta state with no casualty. (MEND claimed the responsibility).

30th September 2010 - Home of former leader of MEND was raided by Interpol officers and he was not arrested.

1st October 2010 - Car bomb expulsion in front of the Ministry of Justice mars independence anniversary, killing 8 people after MEND sent out a warning of the bomb earlier in the day stating that there is nothing for the country to celebrate about.

2nd October 2010 - President Goodluck Jonathan insists at different fora that MEND is not responsible for the explosions.

2nd October 2010 - MEND issues a statement later in the day apologising for the loss of lives in the Abuja bombings and claimed responsibility.

4th October 2010 - Alleged MEND leader, Henry Okah, arrested by South African authorities and arraigned for conspiracy to commit a terrorist act and the detonation of explosive devices in Abuja.

4th October 2010 - The director of the Ibrahim Babanginda Campaign Organisation, Raymond Dokpesi, was invited and detained for several hours by the State Security service for questioning on links with him and text messages seen on the phones of 9 people arrested for the bomb blast. Mr Dokpesi was later released later in the day.

5th October 2010 - Henry Okah, in a telephone interview with Al Jazzera, alleged that a close aide of the president called him to get MEND retract the earlier statement they had issued, claiming the attacks. The Presidency later in the day denied the claim, saying Mr Okah “a sinking man is trying to drown others with him.”

5th October 2010 - Repentant militant leaders meet the president in Abuja to deny MEND’s involvement with the bombing.

I think it was the former--Okah, whose house was raided. The statement is even self-explanatory if you really read carefully: the house was raided by Interpol.

The title is mis-leading I think it should be "MEND's October Bombing Time-line". Because there is no record about all the other bombings, kidnapping and more.
