2007-2010 CRV. Comes with 2.4L i4 Engine.
Hyundai Tucson 2006-2009. Comes with 2.0L i4 and 2.7L V6 engines. These 2 will serve you very well and you won’t spend much on fuel. And they’re durable and strong.

The 2007 CRV are expensive.
I learnt they have leg issues too.

The other option seems fantastic.
Thanks.

Maybe Hyundai Santa. - Fe...but CRVs aren't that fuel economical.

That leg issue has to do with the owners maintenance. My colleague owns a Toyota Sienna and you won’t believe that the rear left tyre removed from the body while he was driving. If you go for the Hyundai you will surely enjoy it.

CRV is more fuel economical than Santa-Fe. CRV is 2.4L i4 engine and Santa-fe comes in 2.7L i4 and 3.3L V6 engines

Hi Team,

I am looking at buying Acura MDX 2004.

*** I'm concerned about the fact that it's 3.5 litre.
*** Lagos traffic is a challenge for me as I work on the Island.
*** What do we think about the cars maintenance, durability, etc.
*** The Tokunbo can also be gotten cheap and that's why it's an option.

What other option do I have?

Look forward to your counsel.

Acura MDX and fuel economy shouldn't be used in the same sentence. Look at a CRV or Rav4, or one of the four cylinder Hyundais.

Stop putting fuel economy as priority.
Your monthly fuel cost can be spent in a single kazeem visit if you buy a useless car like the Honda. Acuras are better built.
Consider the downtime ... The embarrassment of leg pull... consider wading through water, consider the car that can do all these with just elevated fuel economy as the cost!

Hence you save some kazeem workmanship!
Save costs of parts for useless brands like the Honda!
You save downtime spent on repairs!
You save yourself getting stranded and entangled in security dangers prevalent in Nigeria these days! (Even nurey was almost kidnapped inside one useless Toyota/, Nissan by robbers in a V6 VW!)
So bro it should never be just about miserly fuel economy or mundane things.... Think bigger!!

I support the MDX!!

My next ride is going to be either CR-V or the Tucson. Toyota is overhyped and unnecessary expensive.

Why do cloud your sense of reasoning whenever people criticize the brand, Mercedes Benz? It simply shows you are a child.

I have a Mercedes Benz leg pull, same way as the Honda Accords do pull out.

Again it all boils down to maintenance.
