He should shut up!! Is Dubai UAE not a desert?

So foreigners should encroach on our lands with cows as their license!!

What does he mean by the word “desert”?

That is a savanah they have up there in the north and not a desert. That is their vegetation as a result of their climate base on latitude.

In this part of the world, we are too conservative, always sticking to tradition, so rigid and not so dynamic to innovate or embrace innovation.

The world is moving pass following cows from one settlement to the other, get your animals stationed in a place and bring them the calories needed for their growth.

It is pretty obvious Alibaba doesn't know what he's talking about. "The north has been encroached by desert" that's why the Fulani herdsmen come south? Wow. I wonder when was the last time Alibaba visited the north for him to come to that conclusion.

Alibaba failed to know that the Fulani are nomads. 'Travelling' in the bid to feed their livestock is what they do best. It's their way of life for centuries. So I wonder what Alibaba is talking about when he wrote about desert encroachment being the sole reason why the Fulani are coming south.

The truth is that Nigeria has remained stagnant in positive developmental policymaking from the military era to the current democratic era. It cuts across all the sectors of the economy: the popular oil and gas, education, health, mineral mining, power infrastructure, industrialization, agriculture including livestock industry under discussion, housing, sports, etc. It has been a lot motions and 'talk talk' but little improvements to show. All the policies conceived by military juntas and the politicians that succeeded them came with ulterior motives to steal public money and the results are abandoned National Developmet Plans, discarded Vision 2020, several constituent assembly reports and non functional elephant projects which litter the country.

The best way out for cattle producton in Nigeria today is ranching backed by good pasture management. Since herdsmen have proven to be a ruthlessly violent bunch, such ranching initiative should start in their home states.
