There are many types of Laziness and if well analysed with the contest of what is obtainable today in Nigeria's contemporary society where Nigeria youth has decided to channel their precious time to frivolities and trivial issues, you will have no option than to agree with Mr. President that Nigeria youth are Lazy.

Today the country is bedevilled with lots of political and socio-economic crisis and all Nigeria youth whose future has been battered can do is to spend their productive hours on the social media engaging on things that has no relevance. In the past the youth has been vocal and at the center stage of political and economic activities in the country, in fact it was the then Nigerian youth in the likes of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ernest Okoli, Ahmadu Bello that championed the agitation for Independence. During the military regime, the first and second republic Nigeria youth were at the mainstream of Nigeria politics. The likes of Obasanjo, Murtala, Gowon, Ojukwu and Nzeogwu were all less than 40 years of age and they lead the nation. Today Nigeria youth has suddenly gone into Oblivion and we all pretend all is well while deep in our hearts we are nursing the pains of joblessness, hunger and lack of vital social amenities. I told a friend the other day that if 30 percent of what happens in this country will happen in countries like Us and UK the youth will shut down the government and fight to restore sanity in the political sphere of the country.

Nigeria Youth when shall thou wake up from slumber, have you not slept enough. While we were asleep Nigeria politicians has looted the country dry and your dear country is gradually sliding into anarchy.

Today BBNAIJA will kick off, another avenue for Nigeria youth to waste their productive hours.

As you ponder on this
Let remember that there will be no remarkable change in this country unless Nigeria youth rise up and do the needful.

I hate to be the one to break it to you but... There's no waking up (whatever that is supposed to be). This country is sitting on a time bomb, and yes, it will burn!
Why? You are just gonna sit there in your little space and be typing all that gibberish, and the next person reading this will be ranting inanities from his own comfortable space.
Last I checked, this country is filled up with cowards who can't stand up for any just cause but would quickly kill their brother over a border, a woman or a piece of land.
Look around you... What do you see? Chaos, a very big mess.. The kind that requires a higher power to sort out.
But here is hellhole.. Higher powers don't visit hellholes. The calvary isn't coming bro... Just sort yourself out and do your time. wink

And that is why the Leaders take them for granted.
In 1967 a 27 year old man was the head of state

in 2019 a 37 year old man is still living with his parents, watching bbnaija and staying put on social media without any valuable contribution to the society.

The mentality of today's youth in Nigeria is something else.
