While masturbation, to some people, is a moral decadence, it is still not a crime, until it is stated by the law to be a crime. Aside that, when people do things, such as plastic surgery, bleach, or other kinds of artificial adornments to adorn themselves, the Nigerian society often turns back at them. We negatively criticise forgetting that people have liberty to be whom they want to be. That a person’s way of life does not suit us, does not necessarily mean it is bad. That people’s perception about life does not tally with ours, does not mean we should embrace these people or show love to them. In the same vein, that we don’t like what they do does not automatically makes us good. People should do what suits them.
