This is how it is done in saner climes.

We remembered how we used to live as brothers as sisters in our darling nation with these same Fulani herdsmen.
The times we gave water and food to herdsmen journeying across the nation as they go on their business peacefully,
Just with their sticks and kettles for their prayers,
that was all before the evil and criminal minded politicians begun sponsoring some of them for evil because they want to remain in power forever.

Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime in Jesus name!
We believe in our darling President Muhammadu Buhari, a man after God's heart to always make the best decision for our darling nation to move forward.

May God Almighty continue to give you more wisdom. knowledge and understanding as you move our nation forward.

Children of hate and perdition, supporters of evil, you will all never end well.

Hidden a gender to take over states land and islamize Nigeria. FG should stop this nonsense. What concerns federal government there self if not an agenda to islamize the country. Foolssss

Enough is enough and this time we have to do it our way, we must stop eating cow meat and lets see how this their cow business will thrive .
This is the time and we must put our heads together.
Less we forget this mad people the herders always have sex with this cows before they are sold and slaughtered for meat, this is done for sexual gratification and ritual purposes .The meat is charmed, that is why the herders don’t eat cow only goat and chicken.

I have an Idea. Why dont the states that want Ruga take all their land, donate it to the Fulani and leave the rest of us alone. In fact, They can form their own Federal Republic of Ruga for all I care.

Read my solution to the Ruga Problem here: https://www.nairaland.com/5274422/only-way-resist-ruga-settlements

And why can't you read to hear that 12 states have already signified to join. The FG is not forcing the program on any state.

Instead of prosecuting the terrorist masquerading as herdsmen you’re planning on giving them lands to graze ,ruga or Fulani colonies isn’t d solution.

Since the inception of Buhari government, herdsmen conflict, cattle colonies, grazing reserves, ranches are the main interest of the government.
Fulani radio license was in the news, why is Buhari government shying away from dead refineries, fuel importation and subsidy, poor economy, infrastructure decay, health care and others but concentrating solely on on cattle rearing business which is purely private business.

Its like there is a symbiotic relationship between this government and cattle, let the Federal government face issues that are critical to our national progress.

Many of us worked for the emergence of this government but this was not what we had in mind. angry
Exactly what I had in mind. Changing names from grazing reserves to cattle colonies and presently ruga. There's nothing else that matters to Buhari. His intentions are quite obvious but Nigerians are too daft to challenge him. If it were in other countries, heavy demonstration would have erupted. All the IDPs fulani militia aka herdsmen have caused have not received a dime to help them get back to their productive lives but all we hear is billions donated to cattle readers doing their personal business. Woe betide anyone supporting this evil agenda. Any way, what must be must be. We are watching.

cattle rearing is a personal business of individuals. If the dealers fails to comply with relevant laws they should be dealth with as in any other businesses that operates in Nigeria. why should the federal government involve itself in some peoples business affairs to the extent of
investing a collective money of the nation into some personal businesses. why?

One thing we lose sight of is that the real owners of these cows are ‘big men’ that can easily afford ranches. The herdsmen are mere workers that are been paid peanuts for the job of cow rearing. Why do the government think it’s okay to support personal businesses above national security? Unless there is something they are not telling us.

This comment has blown some bad fluid in my stomach.

I am beginning to suspect that either you're extremely naive or you're not in Nigerian.

If you've not heard or experienced fulani herdsmen menace then lemme gist you this:

Fulani herdsmen pulled down my uncles one day old fence with their cows, encroached into his farm and ate up all his crops.

An old woman who saw this raised an alarm, a young around the place of the incident witnessed it.

Unfortunately and unsurprisingly, the herdsman showed no remorse feeling untouchable. He was damn lucky it was inside a bush he left untouched.
He was armed with a sharp knife reason why the young man couldn't fight him.

This happened in Awgwu Enugu State.

These are people you're calling brothers and sisters right?

Man respect your age and stop spitting rubbishes you know no Jack about.

Ruga is a fraud. Federal government said the herdsmen terrorizing this country are foreigners. Now the question is that "Have they chased all these foreigners out of this country before proposing a permanent settlement for the herdsmen"

when you reason myopically or trying to appear politically correct, the nonsense you wrote above is the outcome.
fulanisation/islamisation or what ever they call it is not a 2yrs or 10yrs agenda.

That you support someone does not mean that when they go wrong you shouldn't speak up.
The President said some time ago that the killer herdsmen were from mali and lybia and not fulanis. So, why has non of these foreigners been arrested.

Let's take it this way, if the FG succeeds in getting every state to have a Ruga settlement, that piece of land since it has been acquired by government automatically becomes their. The fulanis will migrate from the north over a period of time and fill up that ranch just like the hausa quarters in some southern states, mind you that most of these fulanis are Moslem and with our porous borders, more fulanis herders from neighboring countries will follow.
The FG will provide amenities such as health care and schools, markets, police station for security at these settlements. Since it's a mainly fulani settlement, it's a matter of say 50yrs or 60yrs time and these ranches become full fledged communities with heads and indigenous to these states.
Making every state to have indigenous fulanis who can aspire for leadership and political positions.

This president and everyone around him I doubt if they socked their mother's breast at all because the manner of senselessness from their statement is very worrisome. Government should first disarm the terrorist that called their selves hersmen and prosecute them in their hundreds only than Maybe the people can accept to accommodate them..

Presidency pls stop interfering in private bizness, unless u hv any other business with them. Any body that want to go into animal husbandary should plan it and start it by himself/herself. President buhari said fulanis are nt nigerians, then why are u planning to establish non nigerians(killers & terrorists). Hw about Leah Shaibu, because she is not fulani, nothing 4 her. Give loans to d graduates so that they can help theirselves.

Can fulani pay tax, water bills, light bill or contribute to any kind of revenue in dis country.

CGMedia:
The Presidency, on Sunday, said the proposed Ruga settlement is aimed at addressing the lingering farmer/herder clashes across the country, Igbere TV reports.

It was reacting to comments and controversies the plan had generated on social media in the past few weeks.

In a statement issued to Igbere TV by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, he said;
