Is this photo the baby of an aligator?

How can I keep it from dieing, what does it eat? Or should I allow it to return to the wild?

We have been told that alligators are found naturally only in the united states of america and china. This implies that Nigeria doesn't have alligators and it is a young crocodile you have. Put it back in the wild. U can neither eat it because it is still very young nor can u take care of it.

It is still a baby.

You can try to search for the mother so that it can breastfeed it’s offspring.

Take tolex advice at your own risk. Release it back to the wild. You don't have the finances to keep it. And where did you get it,means crocs are around your area

I fetched water on Sunday morning (yesterday), devided them and kept some aside for my evening bath. In the evening on going near to take my nascent bath I tripped to see it wriggling in my water!

So, it's crocodile baby?

For God to make and for us to kill what we do not need as food is ABHORENT TO NATURE....

Brother, I think it's better to release it back to the wild, into a far waterside.

It's a juvenile monitor lizard.....let it go, at that size it can fend for itself.

Looks like monitor lizard. That tail is too long for a baby croc
