I don't think there ought to be any issues with the Ruga Settlement proposal so long as the federal government in reciprocity, also provide the same exact measure of land in every state of the federation to every one of the over 250+ tribes in Nigeria for whatever name they chose to call their Ruga.

It's understandable for any reasonable person to reject fulani settlement in his territory owing to their destructive antecedents and little or no respect for human lives. However, total rejection of RUGA would mean the present method of unlawful, unrestricted grazing will continue and fight between hearders and farmers will persist.

The leaders in the south should study the arrangements and modify it in such a way that it would ensue peace and hearders will be restricted to an area. This to me is better than total rejection. There should be stringent law backing up the settlement.

Rejecting ourselves can never leads to peaceful co-existence and we need peace to develop our country.

It is prudent to reject murderous terrorists!

True, not to sound myopic but Igboland should be the title. Every non-Igbo tribe in the SS should speak up for themselves and not hide under the SE/SS banner. If na oyel or Biafra matter you'll see the minority tribes gang up with the enemies to diss us.
