There is a part of Plateau state owned by the fulani. Wase LGA to be precise, where they even have an emir. The Ruga could have been sited there.

The federal government can only be granted land provided the state governor agreed to it.as stated in the land use act of 1978.

All land in the each territory of the federation re here by vested on the governor of that state to held in trust and administer for the use and common benefit of all Nigerians as stated by the provision.

Chapter 6, section 2 explains that : lands not more than 500 hactares could be granted for the agricultural purpose and 5,000 hactares for grazing BUT EXCEPT WITH THE CONSENT OF THE STATE GOVERNOR.


so u only have ur State governors to warn not the federal government, at this moment, cuz some of those states governors might be looking for favor here and there ( personal interests) from the presidency ( just like that bug in kogi) and sell the whole state.
