Suspected gunmen on Monday invaded a police station in Agudama Ekpetiama community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State during the early hours, killing four police officers and leaving two others seriously injured. The officers that were killed include the Divisional Police Officer, a pregnant policewoman and two other officers who were on duty. A visit to the invaded police station by Channels Television revealed that the gunmen carted away rifles, ammunition and police uniforms from the station in an operation that is alleged to have lasted for close to one hour.READ FULL STORY HERE |
