Leon Balogun has taken to Twitter to apologize for his error which led to a goal in the final AFCON Group B match against Madagascar.

The Super Eagles defender committed a “school boy error”, that saw Nigeria trailing 1-0 inside the opening 13 minutes of the game.

After the game, Balogun drew more fury from fans after he told brila.net that he has moved on from that mistake, while insisting that he is human.

The statement didn't go down well with fans, but he seems to have now backtracked on that as he has taken to Twitter to apologize to fans. He also promised that he was going to bounce back.
