How Oginni Tolulope Joshua Became CEO Before 30 And Made FORBES List Of 30 Under 30 CEO's


Oginni Tolulope Joshua, CEO of Transfurd Limited is an international Agropreneur and the new face of innovation and Evolution in agriculture in Nigeria.

Having recognized that Agriculture is a major sector that would eradicate poverty and hunger, he is dedicated to providing solutions to agricultural challenges in Nigeria, providing platforms for youths to engage in farming at different levels, changing how brands and investors as well as customers communicate.

Mr. Oginni started as a farmer in 2017 and currently owns over 100 Hectares of land in Benue, Lagos & Ogun State where he plants, process and packages Rice, Maize and Cassava into innovative end products but beyond farming and food production, He is on a mission of  raising new generations of youth farmers like himself who will become proud citizen irrespective of their social and economic Background. Citizens who will not keep dreaming of illegal ways to come out of poor state of the economy.

The Transfurd Empowerment Scheme launched fully in 2018, giving out 1 acre of land to 10 farmers and providing financial and training support to work on the lands. The youth empowerment scheme has in turn lead to a ripple effect that will help the nation to achieve the sustainable development goal of zero hunger, no poverty and help to reduce unemployment. Thanks to strong partners like International Fund for Agricultural Development( IFAD), Ministry of Agriculture Ogun State, Ogun State Agricultural Development Programme and await other partners to join in the vision.

Key Achievements and recognitions:

In 2017, Transfurd Limited received an award as the most promising Agro Business of the year and the CEO, Mr. Oginni Tolulope was awarded the young farmer of the year 2017. In 2018 the company made the list of the top 100 emerging SME's by Connect Nigeria in partnership with Union bank in Nigeria after competing with over 4.2 million registered SME's in Nigeria .

January 2019, Mr. Tolulope was appointed as the Vice President of the World Food Program at Ghana Model United Nation Conference. In April 2019,Transfurd Limited was nominated to exhibit in the biggest Exhibition Trade fair which held in Tafawa Balewa's square in Lagos. In May 2019, Transfurd Limited receive a Business Excellence Award from World Confederation of Businesses in Houston USA.

 

The CEO, Transfurd LTD was also featured ON Bank & Enterpreneur Africa as one of the 46 purposeful entrepreneurs in Nigeria courtesy of FATE FOUNDATION  and recently announced as one of FORBES AFRICA 30 UNDER 30 CEO's in Africa.
