The Ebonyi State Executive Council, has approved the renaming of the new State High Court Auditorium after Justice Aloy Nwankwo who will be retiring on the 14th July, 2019.

This was disclosed by the Permanent Secretary designate, Ministry of Information and State Orientation, Mr Ken Uhuo as outcome of the State Executive Council meeting.

According to Uhuo, the Executive Council also received a petition from Ukawu community against the immediate past Coordinator of Ukaba DC, John Elom and set a Exco Committee to be chaired by the Perm Sec Local Government and Chieftaincy matters.
He revealed that the council also deliberated on the bill submitted by HAG seeking domestication of Criminal Justice of Ebonyi State and Exco Committee to be chaired by His Excellency the Deputy Governor with Honourable Attorney general of the State, as Secretary, while commending the participation of Ebonyi State in UNESCO and urged the people to take the programme seriously.
