The dictionary defines obesity as a condition that has to do with the accumulation and storage of fat in the body.
Researchers have found that the more fatty foods you consume and the less exercises you do, the more obesity is assured in your body.
There are so many negative effects of obesity and we are going to check them out one by one.

CANCER
The extra fat in the body can affect growth, metabolism and reproductive cycles. As a result of this the cells in the body divide often and when the cells divide often, it leads to cancer.
The cancer caused by obesity include: breast, pancreatic, esophageal, gallbladder, meningioma, kidney, liver, etc.

SOCIAL DISCRIMINATION
People who are obese often face discrimination from other people, especially in a group. For example, a situation where there are is a group that consist of people who participate in mountain biking for fun. Such people would not allow an obese person to join them afraid that such person might set them back.
Another example is a group of people playing volleyball. They may discriminate against an obese person, perhaps fearing that such person would make them lose a competition.

INCREASED SWEATING
Increased sweating is an issue that occurs when a person sweats more than other people when it is hot. One of the symptoms of obesity is increased sweating. Researches have shown that obese people have more sweat glands than non-obese people.

LIMITED MOBILITY
An obese person have limited mobility. The extra weight makes it hard to move easily, not to talk of running. This can be dangerous especially in the face of danger.

LIMITED EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Being obese can also lead to fewer employment opportunities. Unless an obese person has his or her own business or has friends or relatives who own a business, getting a job may be difficult.
A lot of companies or organizations usually exclude the option of hiring an obese person whenever they put out recruitment notices. An obese person, for example cannot play football and participate in some sports.

LOW SELF-ESTEEM
Low self-esteem is defined as feeling badly about oneself, or lack of confidence. As a result, they are always sensitive to rejection. They always expect wherever they go.
As a result of the shape or outlook of their bodies, obese people may have low self-esteem, sensitive to how people may look at them or speak to them. The lack of confidence may lead to depression, anger, anxiety and sadness.
