If there is anything African countries have in common it is corruption rather than growth and development. Corruption is robbing African countries of growth and development.

Corruption from the upper class supported and championed by the middle class has a multiplier effect on other problems affecting the continent like poverty, bad roads, epileptic power supply, high level of crime, diseases and conflict. The lower class who are now on the receiving end from the multiplier effect of corruption now result in corruption. This is a generation and regeneration of corruption in Africa and the root source of corruption is greed and selfishness.
It is not usual to hear that billions of dollars appropriated for white elephant projects have been misappropriated by high-level powerful politicians (Ogas on the top)
