If I was a northerner, I would protect that sector jealously like oil. The value chain can create all the jobs Nigeria needs. It makes me wonder why the fixation on the south when it cannot provide space that can dent the RUGA needs. Well, until the FG commences a policy reform that makes open grazing illegal over time, no investment will flow in that direction. That for me is the first step. Phase out open grazing over two years and see investors setting up ranches that feeds a value chain. Any other approach is just lip service. I am talking in the interest of a prosperous Nigeria.
