Number one is the law in most countries, pple don’t just follow...even in Nigeria.. In the uk, tv license officials literarily knock peoples door to check if they have a tv without license... in some very extreme cases if u are resisting they force their way in... demcomm: I am...... u know the African government is good at one thing, copying and implementing laws that will take money from the masses.... tv license charge was copied from the uk just like the 50 Naira stamp duty charge was copied from European countries.. It’s called radio and tv brocasting license charge.. However, in the uk if u can successfully prove ur tv is for PlayStation or dvd playing only, they might let u off the hook..other wise it’s a crime punishable with a fine of almost £2400... |
