In order to have a proper inauguration of the Edo State Assembly, the House of Representatives is considering a motion urging its members to take over the functions of the state legislature in line with the constitution. The motion was brought by Julius Ihonvbere, Peters Akpatason, Johnson Oghuma, and during plenary by the House of Representatives.
