As part of efforts towards combating crime in the Akwa Ibom State University community, the Vice Chancellor – Prof Eno Ibanga today Tuesday, donated two (2) patrol vehicles to the Nigeria Police Force.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Commissioner, CP Zaki M. Ahmed, while receiving the donation expressed sincere appreciation to the Management of the University for the uncommon gesture and urged members of the public to partner the Police in fighting crime and criminality.

The commissioner also promised to ensure that issues of crime in Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) in particular and the State in general are bought to the barest minimum.
